Aquas pairs a Lochinvar stainless steel condensing boiler with a plate-and-frame pool heat exchanger on a factory-built skid, so the pool water never enters the boiler. The APO outdoor packages run from 750,000 to 6,000,000 Btu/hr with up to 96.2 percent thermal efficiency and up to 25:1 turndown; the APX indoor packages run to 999,000 Btu/hr at up to 97 percent. It suits facilities that want condensing efficiency and long boiler life on saline or aggressive pool water.
