KP / KPV double-suction split-case pumps

Split-case pumps for large recirculation flows and long service life

← Back to all productsAvailable through FreyTechFacts summarized from manufacturer literature 2026-09-16; confirm details with FreyTech before specifying.

Overview

PACO KP is Grundfos' horizontal axially split-case, double-suction centrifugal pump, and the KPV is the vertical version for smaller footprints. The top casing lifts off for access to the rotating assembly without disturbing the motor or piping, an independent bearing housing simplifies maintenance, and the dual-volute casing lowers radial load for quiet running. It suits large aquatic centers and water parks whose main recirculation flows exceed what end-suction pumps handle efficiently.
