E-Z Clor stabilized chlorine sanitizers: 3-inch and 1-inch trichlor tablets plus dichlor granules

← Back to all productsAvailable through FreyTechFacts verified against manufacturer literature 2026-09-26.

Overview

E-Z Clor describes its sanitizers as products designed to kill bacteria and algae, with "built-in protection from the sun to maximize chlorine life." The line is made up of four stabilized chlorine products: three tablet forms based on trichloro-s-triazinetrione (trichlor) and one granular product based on sodium dichloro-s-triazinetrione dihydrate (dichlor).

Big Tabs are 3-inch (8 oz.) slow-dissolving tablets at 99% trichlor with 90% available chlorine; Small Tabs are compressed 1-inch (0.5 oz.) tablets with the same 99%/90% figures. Xtreme Tabs 6-in-1 are a blended trichlor tablet (94.05% trichlor, 84.65% available chlorine) that the manufacturer says also acts as a clarifier, scale preventative, and stain inhibitor. Quick Dissolve is a 99% dichlor granular concentrate with 56% available chlorine, described as suitable as a primary sanitizer or for superchlorination.

Because every product in this line is a stabilized (cyanurate-based) chlorine, each dose adds cyanuric acid to the water. The tablets are stated for use in automatic chlorinators, floaters, and skimmers (Small Tabs: floaters).

Is this a fit for your facility?

Usually a fit when

  • Pools fed by an automatic tablet chlorinator, floater, or skimmer feed
  • Operators who want a stabilized chlorine that resists UV loss
  • Granular dichlor for primary sanitizing or superchlorination without predissolving

Ideal facilities and conditions: Routine chlorine sanitizing via erosion feeders or floaters; Superchlorination with Quick Dissolve granules; Tablet feed with added clarifier and scale/stain inhibition (Xtreme Tabs 6-in-1).
