The WAPOTEC SYSTEM is a two-part chemical treatment process, HydroSan for flocculation and HydroXan for oxidation used in combination with chlorine, applied to existing sand-filtered, chlorinated pools. WAPOTECH offers it as part of its ClearAmine air-quality solution; WAPO Floc22 is a related coagulant/flocculant.

WAPO TEC filters are heavy-duty deep-bed sand and multimedia filters offered from 2 to 10 ft diameter. WAPOTECH states most are NSF/ANSI 50 certified, use its patented Hyflow Diffuser for an even filter surface, and can be air scoured separately from the water backwash.
