BECSys ChemLock

An independent interlock that stops chemical feed whenever the circulation pump is not running

← Back to all productsAvailable through FreyTechFacts verified against manufacturer literature 2026-09-15.

Overview

ChemLock provides a second, independent mechanism for locking out chemical feed when the circulation pump is not running. It complements the controller's own no-flow lockout so that a single failure cannot allow chemical to feed into a stagnant line. BECS lists it as UL 508A approved.

Is this a fit for your facility?

Usually a fit when

  • Facilities that want an independent feed interlock in addition to the controller
  • Renovations where the engineer specifies redundant chemical-feed safety

Look elsewhere when

  • Sites without a controllable feed system to interlock

Ideal facilities and conditions: Any commercial pool with pumped or erosion chemical feed.

Problems it addresses

Key capabilities and benefits

BECSys ChemLock: frequently asked questions

Doesn't the controller already stop feed on no flow?

Yes. ChemLock adds an independent path so the safety function does not depend on a single device.
