BECSys3

Straightforward pH and ORP control for a single pool, with PPM and remote access as options

← Back to all productsAvailable through FreyTechFacts verified against manufacturer literature 2026-09-15.

Overview

BECSys3 is the simplest BECS controller: pH and ORP control on a two-line backlit display. It can be upgraded with a free-chlorine PPM sensor and with a Communications module that adds BECSys Live remote access. It suits a single pool with a trained operator where the expandable monitoring of BECSys5 is not needed.

Is this a fit for your facility?

Usually a fit when

  • A single commercial pool or spa needing reliable pH/ORP control
  • Budget-constrained replacements of a basic controller
  • Facilities that may add communications later

Look elsewhere when

  • Multi-point monitoring (flow, pressures, inventory) or equipment-room control
  • Facilities that need alarms and remote visibility from day one without the Communications option

Ideal facilities and conditions: Single-pool schools, hotels, camps, and clubs; Spas and small therapy pools.

Installation requirements and retrofit considerations

Prerequisites

  • Sample loop and flow cell location
  • Controllable feed equipment
  • Power circuit; network only if Communications option is used

Retrofit and replacement notes

  • Like-for-like replacement of basic pH/ORP controllers
  • Consider BECSys5 if the facility is likely to want alarms, logging, or additional points within its capital cycle

Integration with other equipment

  • Metering pumps and erosion feedersRelay outputs switch feed equipment.
